H.E. Ross co-published the first magazine in the Turks and Caicos and has returned to the archipelago after a seven year maritime research sailing voyage recording aspects of maritime heritage in the Northern Caribbean Basin. Ross was co-founder of the Cayman Catboat Club, Cayman Maritime Heritage Foundation, the Bay Area Marine Institute as well as the Turks & Caicos Maritime Heritage Federation. H.E. Ross has written the first maritime history book in the history of the Cayman Islands-LOVES DANCE The Catboat of the Caymanes

 

Education Programme  Officer  Katya Brightwell

Ms Brightwell comes from London with a background in legal research and a penchant for living in interesting places. Her last address was working for a legal firm in Kazakhstan. Ms Brightwell designed and initiated the Primary Schools Maritime Heritage Programme that is being included in the Public Schools Primary curriculum.
